If you follow me on Twitter or have spotted the site tagline you will have noticed we will have a new domain name soon. I will announce the domain name on Sunday night once the DNS has updated. The new domain is quite catchy and I hope you will like it as everyone that I have mentioned it to did. Now onto the round up of indie game news from the past few days.

Before the news I just wanted to mention I will be posting a request for new reviewers to join the site later today. I am looking for two reviewers as the demand for games reviews is getting to be quite high for myself and another to cope with. More news later on.

Fun Infused let us know they have uploaded a new gameplay trailer for their soon to be released game Abduction Action. You control a alien spacecraft and must complete tasks such as abducting humans and dropping rocks on animals. The game looks to be quite fun so one to keep an eye on. You can view the trailer here and check out the homepage for some more information.

H3 Game Studio released some work in progress images of their game Convenient Chaos. I am not sure what the game is yet but it looks good so far. Check out the images here.

XBLA Ratings posted a preview of Dust Devils which should be hitting the Marketplace this month. Try to survive on the surface of Mars alone or together with a friend in 2 player co-op mode. Collect and harvest the crystals to gain points and buy upgrades. Check it out here.

Before I get to the games news I wanted to mention a few changes to the site over the weeks. I am testing some new site designs as the current one is a little cluttered, I want a cleaner layout so I am looking into two column themes like this one. I have a few more changes which will be implemented over the coming weeks so I will mention them in a future update. Now onto some games news.

Milkstone Studios posted a preview trailer for their forthcoming untitled racer which looks like a mix of Outrun and Burnout. Check it out via their homepage here or below.

Give us this day our daily game reviewed Office Politics. XBLIG reviewed See the Light and Nuke Your Neighbor. Indie Flux reviewed Carcophony. PWNEM reviewed Herman. New reviews via Xbox Hornet: Pioneer, The Impossible Game and Molly the Were-Zompire.

The Christmas rush seems to have thankfully died down a little so it has given me some more time to work on clearing the backlog of reviews. A review for Globe Clicker should be online by tomorrow and Dual The Art of Combat review by the late weekend. I will try and get one more review done before Christmas but no guarantees!

Don’t forget you can enter our weekly competition to win a copy of City Rain which we recently reviewed, full details on how to enter can be found after the review here. And keep visiting as next week we will be giving away a code every day in the run up to Christmas!

XBLA Ratings have posted a trailer for Arkedo Series – 03 PIXEL! which is a platform game. The Arkedo series have been great so far and I expect this third title will keep the run of great games. Check out the video here.

We have a backlog of several games to review which we (me and CyberAxe) are currently working on. A review for City Rain should be online by tomorrow and Johnny Platform Saves Christmas later in the week, CyberAxe should have reviews for The Adhara War and Holiday Trivia soon as well. I hope to get a couple more reviews online before Christmas so apologies to developers who are still waiting, the recent flood of releases are keeping us very busy!

Wasted Seconds posted a preview video on the forthcoming indie game Pilot Test. It is based on a javascript game where you control a shape and must avoid other bouncing shapes in a small play area. As a side note, I coded a version of the original game for the GP2X a year or two ago (see here) and its an addictive little game, hopefully Pilot Test is as well. Check out the video for Pilot Test here.

XBLA Ratings posted a preview of a forthcoming twin stick shooter called Abaddon. The visuals and gameplay look great and there are three game play modes to choose from as well as a RPG element and a Drop-In Multiplayer on Xbox Live and Local Multiplayer. You can read more as well as view the videos here.

Also from XBLA Ratings is a preview of another soon to be released indie game called Full Contact Racing. It is inspired from British Stock Car Racing or as I like to call it Banger Racing :) The trailers didn’t show much racing but instead shows some physics gameplay. It has not grabbed me but I will reserve judgement until I play the game. Full article can be read here.

Evolution Dream Studio posted a trailer for their next game Pirate Mayhem. As I thought last week it is a Cabal style arcade game in which you shoot the enemies that appear on screen. It is looking good so far and I cant wait to get my hooks on this, arrrr a pirate joke! Check out the video here.
